It's the most common choice for cats and many small animals, which are happier in their own surroundings. It also works for adult dogs used to being on their own, as a midday break.

What it usually includes

  • A visit of the length you choose, usually 30 or 60 minutes
  • Food and fresh water, cleaning of the litter tray or cage
  • Play and company
  • Medication, if agreed
  • A message with a photo after every visit

Prices are set by the professionals and you see them on the profile, including extras and fees, before you book.

How to choose well

  1. 1Decide how many visits a day are needed based on species and age
  2. 2Leave written instructions on portions, times and favourite hiding places
  3. 3For shy cats, ask the sitter to make sure they're still seen and doing well
  4. 4Agree a fixed time if the animal takes medication

Frequently asked questions

Is one visit a day enough for a cat?

For a healthy adult cat it often is; for kittens, older cats or cats on medication, two visits are better.

Does the sitter need a key?

Yes, or an agreed way in. You decide the arrangements together before booking.

Can I book visits on certain days only?

Yes: choose the days and the number of visits per day, and the summary calculates the total.
